Hello, I’m Jim Beardsley the Northern Rosarian. I am an American Rose Society Master Rosarian and Accredited Rose Judge, growing rose in Maplewood, Minnesota – a suburb of St. Paul. Besides the American Rose Society, I am a member of the Minnesota Rose Society, the Lake Superior Rose Society, the Minnesota State Horticultural Society and the University of Minnesota Landscape Arboretum. Besides roses, I grow hostas, lilies, daylilies, peonies, native shrubs, wildflowers and maintain butterfly and hummingbird gardens. Besides gardening, I ‘m also an avid amateur photographer and beginning astronomer.
